William Grant launches DIY cocktail making kit

William Grant & Sons has partnered with Shaken Cocktails to release two home cocktail kits featuring Monkey Shoulder whisky and Hendrick’s gin.

The home cocktail kits are designed to showcase each brand’s signature serve

The home cocktail kits are designed to showcase each brand’s signature serve, and each kit contains five drinks: two classic cocktails, two contemporary cocktails and an extra measure of the spirit to enjoy neat.

The kits are designed to enable consumers to create “bar standard” cocktails at home.

Andy Wallace, prestige marketing manager at William Grant & Sons, said: “This is a fantastic partnership for William Grant & Sons UK. The team at Shaken are a leading voice in the world of cocktails.

“Monkey Shoulder and Hendrick’s are the perfect fit for this innovative offering due to their inherent mixability, taste and quality. Our partnership with Shaken means people can re-create that perfect Hendrick’s or Monkey Shoulder cocktail which they enjoy at their favourite bar.”

The Shaken packs are available in Fortnum & Mason at an RRP of £39.99.

Mark Jennings, founder of Shaken Cocktails, said: “Our mission is to help people mix the best cocktails they’ve ever made.

“The key to great cocktails is great ingredients, so it made absolute sense for us to put Monkey Shoulder and Hendrick’s in our cocktail boxes.

“Fortnum & Mason only stocks the very best, and together, Shaken and William Grant & Sons UK have created a cocktail experience that lives up to Fortnum’s exceptionally high standards.”

Earlier this year, the company appointed former Diageo marketing and innovation director for Africa Philip Gladman as its chief marketing officer and member of its executive board.
