US firm acquires fast-growing Cavoda Vodka
Nevada-based International Spirits and Beverage Group has acquired a majority stake in Cavoda Spirits and its flagship Cavoda Vodka brand.
International Spirits and Beverage Group has acquired a majority stake in Cavoda Vodka
The acquisition allows ISBG to move into the super-premium vodka segment for the first time. Cavoda will join Besado Tequila and Dziaq in the firm’s spirits portfolio.
“[Cavoda Spirits] has not only gained hundreds of millions of impressions on social media via the long list of A-list celebrities they’ve worked with, but have also capitalised on their product demand created by the consumer pull,” said Terry Williams, CEO of ISBG.
“They have also opened distribution in multiple states and countries over the last few years, which is not an easy task to do unless there is a strong demand for your product.”
Presented in an illuminating bottle, Cavoda Vodka is available in two variants: a standard Blue bottling and a flavoured Pink expression, infused with pomegranate, strawberry, Nordic berry and raspberry.
The brand is currently distributed in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Nevada through Southern Wine and Spirits and the Republic National Distribution Company.
It is also currently distributed in international markets including Chile, Trinidad, the UK, and France.
“This brand is so hot that out of the more than 2,800 cases of 750ml bottles that literally just landed in our warehouse in NY, more than half of it is already committed to distributors to keep up with demand,” said ISBG COO Jeff Freilberger.
“A production run in excess of 1,500 cases of 700ml bottles for Europe is currently underway with the entire amount allocated to distributors overseas.
“This puts Cavoda well ahead of the many other brands we looked to acquire and gives ISBG sufficient room to grow for many years.”
