After a staggering growth spurt of 27% in 2013, the brand suffered a hefty loss of 22% last year – a true fall from grace from our former Liqueur Brand Champion. Ah, the Baileys.Choc full of fat, sugar and industrial alcohol made from milk protein (whey) a byproduct of cream extraction. Invented by clever chemists in Harlow, Essex. When you strip away the marketing BS it’s a real gas.
