Zammit Tabona will provide training and education on both trade and consumer platforms for Langley’s No. 8.

In addition he will manage the UK on-trade retail growth for the brand, after the recent appointment of Hi-Spirits as the brand’s new UK distribution partner.

Langley’s No.8 is now available in 10 countries with more set to be announced, so Zammit Tabona’s role will include the education and smooth introduction of Langley’s No.8 Gin into all export markets.

The brand launched in the US in 2014, following the group’s partnership with Terlato Artisan Spirits.

Zammit Tabona said: “In the space of two years since launch, we have had an incredible journey, exceeding all of our KPI’s and milestones.

“Langley’s No.8 has cemented itself as a truly emerging brand in the gin market, both domestically and internationally.

“I am proud of the role I have played on this journey and, along with Hi Spirits in the UK, as our new distribution partner, and Terlato Artisan Spirits in USA, I am relishing the challenges of my new combined role to take the brand to the next level, which we are well on course to achieve.”

Zammit Tabona has played a pivotal role in the development of the brand’s newest signature serve, the pink grapefruit and basil-garnished G&T.

The new signature serve will be officially launched this week at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.
In June, the brand was announced as the official sponsor for Chesterton’s Polo in the Park, where it hosted a “quintessentially British” Gin & Tonic bar.
