The Remarkable Regional Malts range consists of Big Peat, Scallywag, Timorous Beastie and Rock Oyster – blends bottled by family-owned Douglas Laing.
Cellar Trends will also take over all UK operations for Guatemalan rum brand Botran, made from sugar cane virgin honey.
The group will also handle the Thomas Henry range of mixers and Danish beer brand Kolson’s – marketing its first distribution deals outside of the wine and spirits sector.
“2014 was a challenging year for Cellar Trends, which left us determined to make a huge impact in 2015,” said Terry Barker, sales and marketing director at Cellar Trends.
“The beginning of this year saw us take on some fantastic brands including Casamigos Tequila , Mar De Frades and Soberano brandy.
“Now with the advent of these four additional brands joining the Cellar Trends portfolio, we believe we are entering a very exciting period of growth that will see our business diversify.”
Barker added that “additional announcements” are set to be made later in the year, with “huge growth” expected in the second and third quarters of 2015.
