Jameson launches whiskey bottling initiative
Irish whiskey fans now have the opportunity to hand fill their own bottle of Jameson whiskey at the brand’s visitor centres in Dublin and Cork following the launch of a new initiative.
First to fill their own bottle was Anna Malmhake, chairman and CEO at Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard
Jameson opened the ‘Bottle Your Own’ facility last week, giving visitors the chance to personally fill a 70cl bottle of Bourbon cask-aged Select Reserve Cask Strength Black Barrel whiskey. They can also personalise the label by hand with their name, the date, and the whiskey’s cask number and abv.
In addition, they will also be invited to log their personal details in a Bottle Your Own ledger, becoming a part of the brand’s history.
First to fill their own bottle was Anna Malmhake, chairman and CEO at Pernod Ricard, at the Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin, and the initiative has now been rolled out to the Jameson Experience in Cork.
Jameson Select Reserve Cask Strength Black Barrel is available at its natural cask strength exclusively through the Bottle Your Own facilities at the price of €100 per 70cl.
