Grey Goose sponsors 2015 Sundance Film Festival

Bacardi’s Grey Goose vodka has built its marketing partnerships by sponsoring the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in the US.

Grey Goose has been named “official spirit” of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival

The brand has opened a Grey Goose Blue Door lounge to host cocktail receptions for filmmakers, celebrities and studio executives at the iconic festival, based in Utah, the US.

Grey Goose will also feature at other events throughout the independent film festival – which launched on 22 January and will run until 27 January.

“We are excited to be back this year as the official spirit of the festival to celebrate those who truly fly beyond in film,” said Michelle Beauchamp, brand director for Grey Goose.

“The Grey Goose Blue Door lounge continues to be one of the most talked about destinations at Sundance, and a haven for film industry influencers.”

A signature cocktail serve using Grey Goose VX – a vodka and Cognac hybrid – will also be unveiled at the Blue Door.

In September last year, Grey Goose partnered with billionaire Richard Branson to sponsor his Virgin Galactic project – set to become the world’s first commercial spaceflight.
