A Rémy Martin 290th Anniversary Coupe has sold for €39,000 at La Part des Anges’s charity Cognac auction

Last week, La Part des Anges sold 25 limited edition Cognacs as part of its 9th annual event, which fetched a recording-breaking total of €237,600.

The auction was held to raise money for the Children in Crisis charity, whose patron, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, was in attendance.

The highest bid was for Rémy Martin 290th Anniversary Coupe, which was bought for €39,000, while the second highest bid of the night was for Prince Hubert de Polignac, which was sold for €26,000.

A bottle of Hennessy Edition Particulière, a blend of hors d’age eaux-de-vie comprised of “the greatest Conacs produced by the House,” also lead the auction, selling for €21,000.

Other Cognac houses which offered limited editions at the auction included Hardy, Frapin, Hine, Courvoisier, and Louis Royer.

The auction, which is supported by the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC), took place at Abbaye de Bassac and was lead by auctioneer Vincent Gérard-Tasset.
