Morsha-VodkaJust last week, Russia banned Morosha Vodka, along with a number Ukrainian vodka and beer brands, apparently amid concerns over violations of consumer rights.

The Russian Federal Service for Consumer Control, Rospotrebnadzor, ruled that alcoholic beverages produced by Global Spirits-owned Ukrainian Distribution Company, a major vodka distributor, should not be imported into the country.

The agency said that products by the company did not correspond to the volume fraction of alcohol and organoleptic characteristics.

    Ah, absinthe is still banned in Belarus. It is not prohibited to bring a bottle or two for yourself from abroad, however it is not soled neither on-trade or off-trade.
