Taboo vodka fusion launches Red Berry Sour
William Grant & Sons has added a Red Berry Sour flavour variant to its range of Taboo vodka fusion drinks in a bid to capitalise on the sour drinks trend.
William Grant & Sons has extended its core range of Taboo vodka fusions with the launch of Red Berry Sour
Joining the brand’s Original Peach and Tropical Juices and Blue Pineapple and Tropical Juices variants, Taboo’s new flavour has been launched to capitalise on the growing popularity of sour drinks.
“The off-trade liqueurs and specialities market is in growth and worth almost £500m, and as 10% of value sales are coming from new products, so it’s clear that consumers are looking for continued innovation in the category,” said Paul Curry, brand manager for Taboo at William Grant & Sons UK, the UK distribution arm of William Grant formerly called First Drinks.
“Taboo remains a popular vodka drink with a loyal following, so we’re confident that Taboo Red Berry Sour will be welcomed by our existing consumers as well as introduce new drinkers to the brand.
“New product development is vital to maintain consumer interest and for the long term growth of brands.”
Taboo Red Berry Sour is packaged in the brand’s new bottle design launched last year and is being promoted through a range of unique serves such as the Taboo Sour Cooler.
The variant, bottled at 14.9%abv, is available from Asda supermarkets in the UK at an RRP of £10.
