Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver arrives in UK

Jose Cuervo’s super-premium Tequila Tradicional Silver, described as a “bartender favourite”  is to launch in the UK next month.

Already available in the US and Mexico, Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver is an unrested version of the brand’s Tradicional Reposado that is bottled immediately after being distilled at the La Rojena distillery in Tequila town.

The Tequila producer claims its lack of oak influence allows the spirit to remain fresh and spicy with more vegetal notes and “a hint of sweetness to finish”.

Gabriela Moncada, brand ambassador for Jose Cuervo, said: “Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver has always been one of my favourite products in the Jose Cuervo portfolio, and I’m so glad it’s finally coming to the UK.

“It’s also the perfect tequila to use in a fresh margarita, with the sharp lime waking up it’s earthy flavours, and the salt rim offsetting the sweetness which comes at the end of every sip.”

The super-premium Tequila will initially be exclusively available to the on-trade (Nobu, Rita’s, The Shop, Catch, The Dorchester, Basement @ London Edition, Playboy Club and Werewolf), and Selfridges in the off-trade at an RRP of £29.50. It will become more widely available to retailers at the end of the year.
