New RTD Stoli Ginger Beer launches in US

Stolichnaya Vodka has launched a new RTD in the US called Stoli Ginger Beer in celebration of the classic Moscow Mule Cocktail.

Stoli Ginger Beer, the first RTD specifically for the Moscow Mule cocktail, comprises vodka, ginger beer and lime.

“As the original premium vodka brand, we saw the opportunity to make the Moscow Mule our own,” said Michael Oringer, senior vice president of innovation and trade marketing at Stoli Group, US. “Stoli Ginger Beer is the first mixer to take advantage of the rapidly rising Moscow Mule trend.

“Its bold taste, made with pure cane sugar and real ginger extract, was expertly blended to complement the smooth and robust flavour of Stoli vodka, delivering the perfect Mule serve.”

In support of the launch, Stoli Ginger Beer, the brand has launched a campaign in the US inviting consumers to swap their usual tipple for a Stoli Moscow Mule and upload a picture to social media platforms along with the hash tag #RaiseYourMule.

The Mule campaign will be promoted across more than 330 managed bar events in 12 American markets, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, new York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Miami, Washingtno D.C. and Northern and Southern California.

“This is a fantastic innovation project generated in the USA that we will extend to several global markets in the near future,” commented Marco Ferrari, chief marketing officer for Stoli.

“A truly bold initiative that drives a relevant drink strategy for Stolichnaya and affirms the brand’s pioneering spirit.”

Stoli Ginger Beer will be a 4-pack in leading retail outlets and premise locations.
