Knob Creek Bourbon launches first TV ad
Beam Inc has launched the first television commercial for its small batch Knob Creek Bourbon brand in the US.

The advertisement, entitled “Bookerisms”, highlights the “full flavour”of Knob Creek and will run nationally throughout the rest of the year.
“While super premium Bourbons have become more popular in recent years, Knob Creek has always been the category leader – even without the use of television advertising,” said Rob Nelson, senior brand manager of small batch Bourbons at Beam Inc.
“As we continue to grow this authentic, legendary Bourbon brand, we’ve decided the time is right to take things up a notch and allow Knob Creek to reach new audiences on TV.”
Part of a larger brand campaign spanning digital media and retail activations, the new advertisement runs with a quote from brand founder Booker Noe: “If you’re not completely satisfied with the big, full flavor of our bourbon, just send back the unused portion and we’ll drink it for you.”
Beam claims that Knob Creek has grown 20% in the past year. The brand’s portfolio includes Knob Creek Rye, Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve and the new Knob Creek Smoked Maple.
This new TV advertisement aims to capitalise on the soaring popularity of Bourbon across the globe and is part of Beam’s 300% increase in media investment in Knob Creek.
