New Absolut bottle celebrates carnival season
By Amy HopkinsPernod Ricard is gearing up for carnival season in Latin America with the launch of passion fruit and orange blossom-flavoured Absolut Karnival.
Absolut is celebrating the carnival season in Latin America with the launch of Absolut KarnivalThe new bottle features five characters designed by Brazilian graphic novel artist and writer Raphael Grampa, which are said to sympbolise “freedom, spirit, smoothness style and happiness”.
Absolut Karnival was unveiled at Port of Spain’s annual carnival in Trinidad and Tobago earlier this week.
To support the launch, a designated truck promoting the new release took part in the carnival procession, accompanied by life size versions of the characters depicted on the new bottle, stilt walkers and masqueraders.
Absolut Karnival is now available across a number of countries in Latin America, focusing on those which host their own carnival.
Bottled at 40% abv, Absolut Karnival carries an RRP of US$18.
In recent months, Absolut has unveiled a range of limited edition bottles inspired by different parts of the world, including Absolut Oz – an expression created in collaboration with Baz Luhrmann.
