Booker’s Bourbon unveils its ‘most unique’ bottle
By Amy HopkinsBeam Inc has released its “most unique” bottling of Booker’s Bourbon to date in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary.
Booker’s Bourbon Batch No. 2014-1 has been released in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary.Booker’s Bourbon Batch No. 2014-1 is made from some of the company’s oldest barrels, aged for between nine and 11 years.
These barrels are said to be some of the the last to have been laid down by the brand’s late master distiller and namesake Booker Noe, who passed away in 2004.
“One of Dad’s last requests for me was to take care of his Booker’s, and we plan to do just that by sharing it with you all, which I know he would have done himself,” said Fred Noe.
“This will be a special bottling for our loyal fans of Booker’s – they have never ever had one that is going to taste like this particular batch.”
Described as having a “robust vanilla nose” and “long, smooth finish”, Booker’s Bourbon Batch No. 2014-1 will be available in select markets across the US from March.
With an RRP of US$99.99, the new release – both uncut and unfiltered – is contained in a commemorative wooden box.
It follows the launch of Booker’s Bourbon Batch No. 2013-6 in October last year, which was selected by a roundtable of whisky experts.
