Benedictine launches travel retail exclusive for Chinese New Year

Bacardi Global Travel Retail has launched Bénédictine DOM Year of the Horse gift box in celebration of Chinese New Year.

Bacardi’s Bénédictine DOM “Year of the Horse Limited Edition Gift Box” travel retail exclusive is now available at Singapore’s Changi Airport

The limited edition, which has been launched at Singapore Changi airport, includes a standard one litre bottle of Bénédictine DOM presented in a red box decorated with gold galloping horses at an RRP of SGD$50.50.

The liqueur features as part of a series of high visibility consumer engagement experiences that will run until 2 March in Terminal 1 Departures, Terminal 3 Departures and Terminal 2 Arrivals.

Consumers travelling through the airport will be able to sample Bénédictine DOM in one of three ways at each station, neat with ice, mixed with tonic or served as a hot drink with rose tea.

Other activities and in-store theatre displays include a Chinese Kungfu Tea Pourer who will be “dramatically” serving a special blend of tea and Bénédictine DOM to attract travellers into sharing the experience.

“This special limited edition offers Changi travellers an exquisite and exclusive new presentation of their favourite brand, perfectly positioned for gifting at Chinese New Year as families are reunited in the season of bonding, sharing and celebrating,” said Irving Holmes Wong, Bacardi Global Travel Retail regional director Asia Pacific and MEA.

“Chinese New Year is the most vibrant opportunity of the year to engage the region’s travellers with exciting gifting options to complement the holiday spirit.
