Johnnie Walker celebrates duty free milestone
Diageo has marked the 30th anniversary of Dubai Duty Free with the release of a limited edition bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve.

The bottle, which will be available for a limited time from Dubai airport, features an abstract screen-printed image which “represents the progress of the country”.
“We’re honoured to join our friends in Dubai Duty Free to mark their 30 years in business with this limited exclusive of our popular Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve blend,” said Steve White, global marketing director of Diageo global travel and Middle East.
“We created the design to celebrate our journey together and their amazing success over three decades. It’s a beautiful bottle that will have a striking presence in store and we believe it will inspire travellers to join in the celebration with Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve.”
Bottled at 40% abv, the limited edition Scotch carries an RRP of US$68.05.
The release is part of Diageo’s duty free strategy for Johnnie Walker, which saw the launch of the Explorers’ Club Collection last year – the brand’s biggest travel retail launch to date. The collection was recently completed with the release of Johnnie Walker The Royal Route in October.
