Grey Goose vodka to sponsor PGA Tour

Grey Goose vodka will be the official spirit of the PGA Tour for the next three years following an agreement between brand owner Bacardi and the Professional Golfers’ Association.

Bacardi’s Grey Goose vodka has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with professional golf organisation, PGA.

As part of the agreement, the vodka brand will have preferred positioning and pouring rights across PGA Tour-owned facilities and will feature on tour-hosted functions. Grey Goose will also sponsor the golf Championship Tour and Web.com Tour.

“The partnership with the PGA Tour, the world’s premier professional golf organisation, will enable us to have a deeper level of engagement with both Grey Goose enthusiasts and golf fans alike,” said Shane M. Graber, vice president and brand managing director of Grey Goose vodka.

Grey Goose has associated itself with golf for a number of years, through sponsored tournaments and events, the creation of golf-themed cocktails, as well as establishing a presence on the Golf Channel through the Grey Goose 19th Hole show.

“Grey Goose is a premier, internationally recognised brand that has a long-standing involvement with golf,” said Jay Monahan, chief marketing officer of the PGA Tour.

“We are very pleased to partner with such a respected brand and look forward to working with the Grey Goose team to activate on the three tours, as well as our TPCs and special events.”

Tournament attendees will also have the opportunity to meet famed golfer Matt Kuchar at The Grey Goose 19th Hole Lounge.

The precise terms of the sponsorship agreement were not disclosed.
