Fallen police officer remembered with Maker’s Mark bottles
A murdered police officer has been honoured with a limited edition Maker’s Mark Bourbon bottle featuring his department’s badge.
One of the unique Maker’s Mark bottles remembering officer Jason Ellis sits in the Bardstown Police Department
Only 300 bottles of the Bourbon, adorned with a wax replica of the Kentucky Bardstown Police Department badge, went on sale earlier this week in remembrance of fallen officer Jason Ellis.
Officer Ellis was ambushed and shot dead in May this year as he made his way home from work.
All proceeds of the bottles, which are now sold out, will go to the Support Heroes charity, an organisation which supports the families of police officers and firemen killed in the line of duty.
Ellis’s killer has not yet been caught.
