New Chivas Regal 12 Year Old gets tailor-made design
Pernod Ricard has unveiled a limited edition design of its Chivas Regel 12 Year Old in collaboration with fashion designer Patrick Grant.
Chivas Regal 12 Made for Gentlemen by Patrick Grant features silhouettes adorned with accessories
Chivas Regal 12 Made for Gentlemen is contained in a bespoke tin case that depicts four male silhouettes, each featuring a different style accessory: a tie, a cufflink, a watch, and a pocket square.
Its designer Patrick Grant, who is famed for reinventing bespoke tailors Norton & Sons of Savile Row, said: “The collaboration with Chivas Regal was a natural alliance of artistry and shared vision.
“The tailor’s obsession with mastering complexity in achieving perfect balance in form and finish are values also held dear by the master blender of Chivas Regal, Colin Scott. Ultimately, we both strive to give our customers stand out experiences and luxury goods of lasting value.”
Grant follows in the footsteps of last year’s collaborator in the Made for Gentlemen campaign, shoe designer Tim Little, who designed one of the most popular limited edition bottlings in the brand’s portfolio to date.
The campaign will see an on-going annual collaboration between Chivas Regal and “modern craftsmen who share a passion for style, discernment, heritage and creativity”.
“With our new limited edition, we wanted to celebrate the values of craftsmanship and heritage that are integral to Chivas Regal and we’re delighted with the result,” said Richard Black, global brand director for Chivas Regal.
“It has been a pleasure to work with Patrick Grant, a renowned figure in the tailoring industry and we hope Chivas fans will enjoy and treasure this unique collectible.”
Chivas Regal 12 Made for Gentlemen by Patrick Grant is available from this month in over 60 markets, both domestic and travel retail.
The launch is being supported by a new Made for Gentlemen app which allows fans to create a personalised Facebook cover image, composed of men’s accessories.
