Gin Mare owner launches CapuCana cachaça

Global Premium Brands, owner of Gin Mare, is launching a new super-premium cachaça named CapuCana this month in select markets across the globe.

CapuCana cachaça is being rolled out globally this month

CapuCana – meaning house of the sugarcanes in an indigenous Brazilian language – is distilled in a cachaçeria in Piracicaba, a city located in the heart of Sao Paulo.

The area’s clay-like soil allows perfect growing conditions for the sugarcane. As such, the terroir allows for 25 different strains of sugarcane to thrive.

CapuCana uses three different varieties of sugarcane grown in the region, which are distilled and blended together before being aged for three years.

Described as having aromas of leathery apricot, biscuit, orange fudge and aloe vera, with the flavours of stewed fruit, honey blossom and vanilla, CapuCana is being rolled out this July in the UK, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Holland, Italy and Chile.

Presented in a sleek, tall 700ml bottle, CapuCana will be available for an RRP of €34.
