The Glenrothes releases Manse Brae, its first travel retail whiskies

Berry Bros. & Rudd has unveiled the Manse Brae range of The Glenrothes, the brand’s first ever collection designed exclusively for travel retail.

The Glenrothes Manse Brae collection is the first range form the brand available exclusively in travel retail

Comprised of three expressions, Manse Reserve, Elders’ Reserve and Minister’s Reserve, the collection will be distributed globally from this month.

The Manse Brae collection is named after the street on which Rothes House, formerly the Minister’s home known as the Manse, stands.

Ronnie Cox, brands heritage director of Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits, said: “The Manse is a hugely important place; home to the families that own The Glenrothes, it has always been and remains a welcoming place for kindred spirits who appreciate the exceptional quality of our whisky.

“Interest in The Glenrothes at travel retail is very high and so this range is really a response to consumer demand. We have decided to celebrate our spiritual home and its long history with the Kirk.”

Manse Reserve is mostly matured in American oak casks with some sherry influence, bottled at 43% abv and available for £33.

Elders’ Reserve is matured for a minimum of 18 years and is described as having notes of coffee, wood and polish. Bottled at 43% abv, it has an RRP of £80.

Finally the Ministers’ Reserve is matured for at least 21 years and bottled at 43% abv with notes of pink grapefruit, cedarwood, dried fruit and vanilla. It is available for £115.

The Manse Brae range will be available in European travel retail locations, distributed by Maxxium Travel Retail, as well as in other airports around the world including Dubai, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul.
