Skyy Infusions unveils Wild Strawberry flavour

Skyy Vodka has unveiled a new addition to its Infusions line – Wild Strawberry vodka – just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Wild Strawberry joins the Campari-owned vodka brand’s existing line of original, naturally-flavoured editions, which include Coconut, Dragon Fruit, Blood Orange, Pineapple, Ginger, Cherry, Grape, Citrus, Raspberry and Passion Fruit.

Skyy Vodka brand director Jason Daniel said: “Fresh strawberry is one of the-most popular cocktail flavours in the US, but to date that bright, sweet experience hasn’t really been captured in an actual spirit.”

Created using real, sweet wild berries, the latest Skyy Infusions vodka is described as having notes of ripe berries, hints of tropical vanilla, and white chocolate.

Daniel said the brand has captured the true essence of the fruit allowing consumers to experience the flavour without a blender or heavy juices.

“Just add club soda and you have a delicious strawberry cocktail to enjoy with your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day or add a squeeze of lemon for a refreshing sipper year round,” he added.

Wild Strawberry will be available in the US ahead of Valentine’s Day (14 February) only in 50ml ($1.99), 750ml ($18.49), one-litre ($23.49) and 1.75L ($26.99) bottles. The launch will be supported by a fully integrated marketing campaign featuring advertising, social media activities, plus on- and off-premise sampling promotions.

Campari America introduced Skyy vodka in 1992 and later went on to develop Skyy Infusions in 2008. Skyy Infusions Wild Strawberry is the 11th expression of the naturally-infused vodka range.
