Jura urges photographers to capture community spirit
By Becky PaskinJura single malt whisky is calling photographers to enter a competition for the chance to win a VIP trip to the Scottish isle and an Olympus camera.
Photographers are urged to visit Jura’s website to share their community spirit photos
Three grand prize winners – one from North America, one from the UK and one from elsewhere in the world – whose submitted photographs best embody the chosen theme of ‘community spirit’ will be chosen.
Entrants need to upload their photograph to the Jura website with a brief 50-word explanation of how it captures community spirit.
Every week up until 3 August the competition, which is run in partnership with Olympus, will reward those submissions with the highest number of votes with a bottle of Jura 16-year old and and an Olympus VG-170 camera.
The three overall winners will also be given an Olympus PEN E-PL3 camera and the chance to attend a photography workshop with David Nightingale.
The distillery hopes to highlight the isle of Jura’s reputation as being a small, close-knit community of less than 200 people through the competition.
