Hi-Spirits secures Bloodshot distribution

New Bloody Mary spirit Bloodshot Bloody Vodka has agreed a distribution partnership with Hi-Spirits in the UK.

Bartenders need only add tomato juice to Bloodshot Bloody Mary Spirit

The 29.9% abv spirit, which was first launched in February 2012 by Greenbox Drinks Company, has since gained listings with 150 Waitrose supermarkets in the UK.

Designed specifically for mixing with tomato juice and lemon juice for a Bloody Mary cocktail, Bloodshot is a blend of British wheat vodka and savoury ingredients, including chipotle, tabasco and cayenne peppers, coriander, celery seed, horseradish, lemon peel, Worcestershire sauce and oak-aged ruby port.

Mark Douglas Hill, owner of Greenbox, said: “I set out to develop Bloodshot primarily because I wanted to enjoy the best possible Bloody Mary myself. The response, including our new listing with Waitrose, shows that many other people share my enthusiasm, and Hi-Spirits’ proven expertise in bringing new brands to market will be invaluable to Bloodshot’s continued growth.”

Bloodshot Bloody Vodka Spirit is also available in 50cl bottles from Selfridges, Gerry’s Wines and Spirits in Soho, wine merchants Lea & Sandeman, Coe Vintners and Venus Wine & Spirits with an RRP of £19.99.

Hi-Spirits also distributes Antica Sambuca, Buffalo Trace, Sebor Absinth and Fireball cinnamon liqueur in the UK.
