Panache extends Wodka Vodka reach to Canada
Panache Beverage is looking to market its Wodka Vodka and Alchemia Infused Vodka in Canada for the first time.
The New York-based beverage company has enlisted O.B.H. Wine and Spirits to market the two brands in Canada as of next month, subject to approval by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) to market the brands throughout all provinces and territories in the country.
Michael Romer, Vice President of Business Development, said: “Foreign expansion is a critical part of the Panache growth strategy and O.B.H. Wine and Spirits gives us a tremendous partner for Canada.”
Panache Beverage and O.B.H. Wine and Spirits will appear before the LCBO on 1 June.
The move follows a period of rapid marketing growth for the Wodka Vodka brand, which has branched out to several new areas of the US, including Wisconsin and Nevada, in recent months. The brand hit headlines in the US at the end of last year following a controversial billboard advertising campaign, in which the vodka was described as “Christmas quality, Hannukah pricing” and “Escort quality, Hooker pricing”.
