How many bottles do I need to send?

If you are entering a tasting award, you must send in 2x70cl or 3x50cl bottles. However, if you are entering a Design & Packaging or Marketing award only, you need only send one.

Where do we send the samples?

Please send all samples to:
(Competition name)
Wine Sorted Ltd, Little Owl Farm
Main Road, Murcott, Kidlington
OX5 2RE, UK

How do we pay the UK duty?

We advise using one of the leading couriers to send your bottle samples to us, who can usually organise payment of UK duty for you. Please ensure this is paid prior to sending.

Are the spirits judged against the other spirits in their category or on their own individual merit?

All entries are tasted blind alongside other spirits entered into the same category. However, each spirit is judged individually and without comparison to other entries.

How many Master, Gold and Silver medals can be awarded?

There is no limit on how many medals are awarded in each competition.

If we want to enter into more than one category how much does it cost?

The first entry in each Global Spirits Masters competition costs £195 +VAT. You may enter the same product or additional products into further relevant categories within that competition. Each subsequent entry in that competition will be charged at £150 +VAT.

However, if you would like to enter a product into a different Global Spirits Masters competition, you must pay the full amount for the first entry, and the reduced amount for any subsequent entry.

My spirit is best tasted in a particular serve. Will the judges taste accordingly?

All spirits entered are tasted at room temperature in ISO glasses.
