Stoli Group USA details exec appointments

Stoli Group USA has expanded its executive leadership team with a string of appointments, including hiring Brian Cox as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Brian Cox will take over from Lori Tieszen, effective 1 March

Effective 1 March, Cox will take over from Lori Tieszen, who has been with the company since its inception in 2013.

He has more than 20 years experience in the spirits industry, having held US and global positions at Allied Domecq and Moet Hennessy before joining Diageo where he most recently led their Scotch whisky division.

Additional appointments include Emmanuel Cargill, who was named SVP and chief human resources officer in January, and Hih Song Kim, who came on board in July to serve as SVP and General Counsel.

Cargill’s career spans nearly 30 years in HR and wine and spirits with leadership roles at Grand Marnier and Pernod Ricard USA.

The trio join Iris Snyder, recently promoted to SVP and chief financial officer; SVP and head of sales, Steve Ballard; and president and chief executive officer, Patrick Piana, on the company’s executive leadership team.

“We thank Lori for her many contributions to Stoli Group USA. She has laid a foundation with the marketing department that we will continue to benefit from for years to come,” said Piana.

“I look forward to building on recent success and to stewarding in the next stage of growth for our expanding portfolio with the new members of the executive leadership team, who bring strong and varied backgrounds to our organisation.”
