With an anticipated 2,350 exhibitors and 48,500 trade visitors from 151 countries, Vinexpo is a leading trade event for wine and spirits professionals.
New features announced for the 2017 Bordeaux edition include a hosted buyers programme, set to attract key figures from e-commerce, travel retail and the on- and off-trade; new exhibition spaces for speciality wine producers, and a spotlight on Spain as the event’s Country of Honor.
Returning by popular demand for the event are The Blend networking party; Les Terrasses, an indoor-outdoor exhibition space for wine and spirits brands; and L’Atelier Good & Wine which partners chefs with sommeliers.
Vinexpo is held in Bordeaux each odd-numbered year. The 2015 event attracted more than 48,000 visitors, with American attendance up 15% on the 2013 edition. The US represents the second-largest segment of international visitors, behind China.
In even-numbered years Vinexpo takes place in Hong Kong, with the 2016 edition attracting 17,200 visitors – a 2.5% increase.
