Label 5 goes ‘metropolitan’ with City Edition
By Kristiane SherryLa Martiniquaise has released a limited-run, graffiti-style City Edition bottle for its blended Scotch expression Label 5 Classic Black, in line with its City Light campaign.
The bottle is entirely spray painted in black and echoes the “metropolitan, modern and cosmopolite character” of Label 5, while reflecting the brand’s “urban” positioning.
With a striking, colourful design, the artwork “offers a new vision” of the Label 5 Classic Black expression, a fruity, Speyside-influenced blend.
The Label 5 brand is available in more than 100 countries and sold 2.6 million 9-litre cases in 2015, ranking it in the global top 10 Scotch brands, according to Brand Champions figures.
Last year, Label 5 created a promotional Instagram video featuring over 100 clips crowdsourced from fans across the globe, as part of its World Mix marketing campaign.
