Cocktail enthusiasts will be treated to a week of mixing master classes, discount drinks and vintage bus tours when London Cocktail Week (LCW) returns for its fourth year.

London Cocktail Week 2013

A wealth of interesting events will be open to bartenders at the fourth annual London Cocktail Week

The popular event, a celebration of the city’s growing cocktail culture, will take place from 7-13 October and will be based once again around Seven Dials in Covent Garden.

Those who purchase wristbands for the event will have the opportunity to enjoy discounted cocktails at over 100 bars across the city and travel between venues on vintage routemaster buses.

LCW launched in 2010 and was initially marketed solely as a trade show, but organisers found that there was a growing demand for a mass consumer cocktail event, prompting them to expand their target audience. As a result, the event is now open for everyone from the cocktail novice to the mixology connoisseur.

However, the event continues to attract many experienced representatives of the on-trade industry, with a plethora of events catering to the interests of bartenders. This year, organisers have announced a packed programme exclusive to the on-trade – allowing bartenders to build their knowledge and have a little fun along the way.

From ice carving to cocktail ageing, here are our top 10 unmissable events at London Cocktail Week.
