BCB London sets dates for 2027 return
By Rupert HohwielerHaving wrapped up its second edition this week, Bar Convent London (BCB London) has confirmed the trade show will return next year from 10-11 May.

The two-day show took place at Tobacco Dock on 11-12 May and welcomed 3,237 visitors, slightly down from 2024’s 3,650-plus number.
The show also attracted more than 100 exhibitors from across 20 countries.
BCB director Petra Lassahn said: “From the energy on the show floor to the calibre of education and talent involved across both days, this year’s event demonstrated just how collaborative and forward-thinking the industry continues to be.
“The second edition has been a great success, and we would like to thank our exhibitors, partners, speakers and visitors for helping make BCB London such a vibrant and valuable meeting place for the industry. We look forward to returning in 2027.”
Alongside the exhibitors and product discovery, the show featured a dedicated bartending area in partnership with the World Flair Association (WFA). The area saw live flair displays from world-champion bartenders, drop-in training sessions based on the WFA grading syllabus, and practical demonstrations of core flair techniques.

Additionally, a competition-standard pouring contest took place over the two days, hosted by Kevin Armstrong and Dan Waddy of Satan’s Whiskers.
The contest oversaw 186 pouring tests, judged on speed and accuracy, with the winner claiming an expenses-paid trip to Bar Convent Berlin in October.
Education was also a key focus of this year’s event, featuring a programme produced in partnership with Park Street University, BCB London’s business education partner.
A lineup of workshops and masterclasses was overseen by BCB director of education Elliot Ball, brand ambassador Jack Sotti, low-and-no ambassador Camille Vidal, and fellow board members La’Mel Clarke and Maria Kotorravdis.
The themes covered seasonality and sustainability in drinks, the use of low-and no-alcohol, and the rise of mid-strength and functional drinks, while the show’s seminars addressed the latest trends and company culture.
Managing director of BCB’s organiser RX Germany, Michael Köhler, added: “The response to this year’s BCB London has been incredibly encouraging and reinforces the importance of having a dedicated platform for the bar and beverage industry here in the British Isles, especially during what we all know has been a struggling time for the hospitality industry.
“Across two days, we saw the industry come together to exchange ideas, discover new products, build meaningful business connections and engage with an exceptional level of education.”
