Craft Distilling Expo 2024 returns to London
On 2-3 October, the Craft Distilling Expo 2024 will return to the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London.
The industry event brings together professionals, enthusiasts, and newcomers to explore the art, science and practice of craft distilling.
Attendees can also explore the latest advancements in distilling and production, including equipment, materials and techniques.
The expo will offer educational seminars and talks that cover current trends, techniques, and technologies in craft distilling, as well as tastings, panel discussions, and presentations from industry leaders.
“All talks, tastings, and networking events are now included in a single entry ticket for the event – frozen at 2023 prices – so the show has never represented such good value,” said David T Smith, co-founder of Craft Distilling Expo.
The expo will feature a Gin & Tonic Social Hour with The Gin Guild on the first day, which is back by popular demand.
The event will conclude on Thursday with an English Whisky Showcase in collaboration with Exploring English Whisky and The English Whisky Guild. The tasting event will accompany a series of curated talks on the subject.
“When the expo started in 2013, there were only one or two whisky distilleries in England; today, there are more than 50. Following the success of our Gin & Tonic events, The English Whisky Showcase is an informal time for distillers and suppliers to meet and is a fitting finale to our two-day event,” added Smith.
Spirits enthusiasts will enjoy special events in London this September, such as The House of U.S. Spirits on 2 September and The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show from 6-8 September.
