Creamy Creation creates retort-free RTDs
B2B (business-to-business) cream liqueur developer and manufacturer Creamy Creation has created a low-ABV, cream-based ready-to-drink (RTD) concept.
The latest offering from Creamy Creation is a retort-free, low-ABV, cream-based RTD, designed to tap into the growing space for drinks with lower alcohol strengths and convenient formats.
Jeroen Huiskes, innovation manager at Creamy Creation, said: “We know that not many creamy and indulgent RTDs have seen the light of day due to a special high-temperature heat treatment [retort] that has been required.
“This process is only offered by a limited number of co-packers, who typically have high MOQs, making the market entrance for low-ABV, creamy RTDs difficult and costly.
“Seeing there is a clear gap in the market, we came up with a solution and developed an innovative technology that only requires pasteurisation, which is readily available via co-packers in the global industry. This gives cream-based beverages an easier entry-to-market in the low-ABV space.”
Creamy Creation has designed a number of flavours to demonstrate its latest product development: Raspberry Chocolate, Hazelnut Latte, Caramel Fudge, Classic Coffee, Mocha Latte, Mango Carabao, and Limoncello.
Customers can customise the concept to fit their needs; the new product is available in dairy, vegan, malt, spirit, and wine-based variants.
Established in 1979, the B2B manufacturer has production facilities in the Netherlands and the US.
Last year, Creamy Creation brought out the first vegan-based product made with real cream of coconut. It also created a plethora of Asian-inspired products in January 2023.
