De Kuyper rebrands B2B division

Dutch drinks firm De Kuyper has renamed its business-to-business (B2B) arm, which will now be known as DCS Solutions.

Formerly known as Team Products, the subsidiary’s new name stands for Dutch Cream & Spirits Solutions.

The new name was chosen to reflect the division’s dedication to providing comprehensive B2B solutions in both alcoholic emulsion and spirits production, while also paying homage to the company’s Dutch heritage.

“We believe that the new set-up and name DCS Solutions reflects our business and strategic intent much better,” said Larry Fekkes, managing director, DCS Solutions. “It underscores our commitment to better serving the B2B market and enhancing our ability to respond to evolving market dynamics.”

DCS Solutions supplies spirits, cream liqueurs and advocaat to brands, distillers and producers across the world. The company produces No 3 London Dry Gin for British wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros & Rudd, and Bobby’s Schiedam Dry Gin, among other brands.

De Kuyper operates its own production facility in the Dutch town of Middelharnis, where it specialises in the creation of cream liqueurs using locally sourced dairy produce.

Services include the development of customised recipes, supply chain management, bottling and distribution. The Middelharnis plant also offers kosher and organic product formulations.

“By rethinking the name we want to sharpen our profile,” said outgoing De Kuyper CEO Mark de Witte, who will retire from the company this week (30 April).

“While De Kuyper is focusing on its vision to ‘own the cocktail’ and on building global leading cocktail liqueur brands, our subsidiary DCS Solutions has its own independent vision of being the global specialist in alcoholic emulsions.

“I am convinced that DCS Solutions is very well-positioned to navigate the complexities of the B2B landscape for the benefit of our customers and to deliver unparalleled service and products.”
