The gin clocks in at 40% ABV

Hungarian firm Spirit Hub operates in the on- and off-trade, as well as through events and e-commerce.

Spirit Hub’s mission is to support up-and-coming bar culture in Hungary, primarily through offering ‘stylish’ spirits to perfect bar experiences, or through providing at-home cocktail experiences.

Andrea Baranyai, CEO of Spirit Hub Hungary, said: “The bar culture in Hungary is improving day by day and Spirit Hub has always been its dedicated ambassador.

“We are really excited about this partnership, because the uniquely flavoured Sir Edmond will redefine cocktails for our premium consumers and partners. We have matching philosophies about high-end services; together we will be able to create really special moments for Hungarian gin lovers, regardless of place and time.”

Sir Edmond Gin recently teamed up with Pro Drinks in Greece to expand its European availability, claiming it is a ‘perfect fit’ due to their mutual care for ‘responsible entrepreneurship’.

Plus, earlier this year, the brand partnered with beverage supplier Merit HP to distribute its spirit in Slovenia.

The brand also entered Croatia through wine and spirits importer Brza Distribucija.

Sir Edmond Gin co-owner T-J van der Drift commented: “We are ready for the next step in our gin journey. We are excited to explore all of the possibilities Hungary has to offer and together with Spirit Hub we want to make this partnership a great success.”

The gin is bottled at 40% ABV.

Dominique Makatita, co-founder of Sir Edmond, added: “Right after setting up collaborations in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece, we are very grateful to welcome yet another new distribution partner who believes in the magic of Sir Edmond Gin.

“Our goal is to bring our world-class spirit to a global audience. We are delighted to be part of Spirit Hub’s exclusive premium portfolio and are very excited about working together with their amazing team. Our shared future in beautiful and authentic Hungary is full of potential.”
