Lixir Drinks revamps packaging design

Premium tonic water and mixer brand Lixir has redesigned its packaging with a ‘sleek and modern’ new look.

The ‘sleek’ new look includes an embossed ‘X’ and brighter labelling

The packaging redesign has led to the bespoke glass bottle featuring the brand’s embossed ‘X’ emblem for a more distinct ‘premium’ feel.

The transparent front and back labels have been updated to feature a more vibrant and opaque design to allow the bottles to stand out.

The messaging on the bottle has been updated to include descriptive information on the liquid’s flavour profile. In addition, the bottleneck label has been upgraded to be more prominent and include the ‘low in calories’ messaging.

Following a recent investment of £1.1 million (US$1.34m), Lixir is now launching a range of bigger bottlings of four of its key expressions: Classic Indian; Pink Grapefruit; Rhubarb & Ginger; and Elderflower & Lemon. In a bid to reach a wider audience, the larger 500ml bottles will debut at the independent pop-up shop, Raye The Store, located on Floral Street in London’s Covent Garden for one month from 30 June.

The Lixir drinks range currently comprises nine mixers, including five tonic waters.

The 200ml bottles are priced at £13.99 (US$17.08) for a mixed pack of 12 bottles, or £24.99 (US$30.50) for a mixed case of 24 bottles.

The 500ml bottles are priced at £19.99 (US$24.40) for a mixed case of eight tonics, and are available on the Lixir web shop.
