Final call to enter American, Irish and World Whisky Masters

There is just under a week left to enter The American, Irish and World Whisky Masters, sponsored by stopper producer Talis.

Whisky Masters
Whiskies from across the world will be tasted blind by an expert panel next month

The entry deadlines for the three blind-tasting competitions will close on 28 June 2022.

The three competitions will be judged next month in London by an expert panel of judges spanning writers, buyers, bartenders and spirits specialists.

The American Whiskey Masters is open to all whiskeys from the States, including rye, Bourbon and Tennessee bottlings.

Meanwhile, the booming Irish whiskey category will be judged in our annual contest, spanning blends, single malts, single grain, single pot still and poitín.

The World Whisky Masters will discover the best that up-and-coming areas of whisky production, such as England, Asia, Canada, Australia, and Europe, have to offer.

The results from each competition will be published in the August issue of The Spirits Business magazine and online.

Talis is the official sponsor of the three competitions, and will also sponsor The Luxury Masters later this year.

The producer creates ‘high-performance’ bar tops for luxury wine and spirits brands, with an aim to offer ‘high-quality products with unique custom designs’.

The Talis range is produced by Cork Supply, which was founded in 1981 by Jochen Michalski in northern California’s wine region.

The competition series recently revealed a rebrand to The Global Spirits Masters Competitions (GSMC) with new designs for the Silver, Gold and Master medals.

The GSMC awards products with Silver (70-79 points) and Gold (80-89 points) medals, with truly outstanding spirits awarded Master (90-100 points) accolades.

To enter the competitions, visit The GSMC’s new website.
