Pernod Ricard launches GTR-exclusive Cognac and blended Scotch
Travellers visiting Singapore will be able to pick up two new travel retail-exclusive bottlings by Pernod Ricard.
Royal Salute 21 Years Old The Signature Blend Singapore Edition and the Martell Cordon Bleu World Cities Singapore Edition join the Duty-Free City Exclusives range.
Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (GTR) launched the whisky and Cognac in partnership with Lotte Duty Free in March. Each expression is available exclusively from Singapore’s Changi Airport.
Travellers can find the bottlings in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 in Changi Airport. They will also be available online at Ishop Changi, priced at RRP SG$280 for Royal Salute and SG$340 for Martell.
Liya Zhang, vice-president of marketing, Pernod Ricard GTR said: “We are delighted to share two truly unique and luxury products from Royal Salute and Martell with passengers at Changi Airport.
“As the trend for premiumisation continues to flourish in the channel, these duty free exclusives are perfect for shoppers on a mission to find unique and collectable items on their travels.”
To mark the launch, Pernod Ricard GTR and Changi Airport have created a pop-up experience in T3 departures, which will run throughout April.
Shoppers will find the activation immersed in green drapes, with wall-to-wall products from Pernod Ricard’s portfolio, including Absolut vodka.
Gwyn Sin, vice-president, airside concessions, Changi Airport Group, said: “As we welcome passengers back to Changi Airport, we hope to rekindle the joy of shopping during travel.
“Limited-time exclusives, such as these new city editions, give shoppers a sense of novelty and create excitement, which will uplift the entire shopping experience.”
