The collaboration was facilitated by family-owned events business Freemans Event Partners.

The rugby team’s bars at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester, have been revamped, and the vodka brand will be served across the venue until the end of the rugby season in June.

Irina Zhygunova, chief marketing officer at Nemiroff, said: “I’m incredibly proud of the partnership we’ve established with Gloucester Rugby which will supplement our strategic sport partnership vision on the UK’s market.

“Moreover, through sport people demonstrate courage, bravery and indomitable spirit, which are in Nemiroff’s DNA as we are Ukrainian brand.”

The aim of the partnership is to boost Nemiroff’s exposure through its bar sales, and to grow its presence in the rugby sector.

Stephen Freeman, chief executive officer at Freemans Event Partners, said: “Our goal is to continue to improve the experience for fans at Kingsholm Stadium and we’re looking forward to enhance the offering with this premium vodka.”

The vodka brand recently expanded its international footprint by launching in The Bahamas, partnering with Caribbean Wines and Spirits, which will act as the brand’s exclusive distributor there.

Last month, The Spirits Business spoke to Nemiroff CEO Yuriy Sorochynskiy, who candidly spoke about the atrocities and challenges facing Ukraine following Russia’s invasion.

In other rugby news, earlier this year, Scotch whisky brand Glen Moray renewed its partnership with Edinburgh Rugby for two years as the club’s official single malt.
