Martin Miller’s has brought back its Summerful gin bottling

The original Summerful bottling was released in February 2020, and was made with rosemary and thyme. It was followed by the debut of Winterful Gin in September 2020.

The expression blends the brand’s flagship variant with citrus and juniper.

In homage to the brand’s heritage, the gin undergoes a third distillation using botanicals from England and Iceland’s spring and summer seasons – Arctic thyme and rosemary. It is also blended with Icelandic spring water.

The addition of arctic thyme brings a ‘floral bouquet of flavour and distinctive earthy notes with hints of citrus and mint’, which are combined with lemon flavours pine aromas found in rosemary.

“Since its founders first blended Icelandic spring water in order to create a superior quality gin, transformation, experimentation and pursuit of excellence have been at the heart of the Martin Miller’s Gin brand,” said Robert Eastham, the brand’s global sales and marketing director.

“It’s been over 20 years since the brand’s inception by its eponymous creator. Martin Miller’s Summerful Gin is an illustration of how the brand is continuing to innovate in an ever-changing gin industry – and all whilst remaining true to the founder’s values.”

Summerful Gin is recommended served with tonic water, a wedge of grapefruit and a sprig of rosemary, or in cocktails such as a Southside or a Dry Martini.

The new batch of Summerful was released today (21 April), the first day of summer in Iceland.

Spain’s Zamora Company acquired a majority stake in Martin Miller’s Gin in January 2018. The move marked the company’s entry into the gin category.

Earlier this year, Zamora Company revealed a label redesign for Martin Miller’s Gin – the first in the brand’s 21-year history.
