The four flavours in the Carnival series include: Pineapple, Spiced, Banana, and Coconut. All expressions clock in at 38% ABV.

Meanwhile, the Club range comprises two aged rums, both sitting at 40% ABV. This includes the Grand Kadoo Club Aged Three Years, and Grand Kadoo Club Aged Eight Years.

Grand Kadoo is distributed by Kirker Greer Spirits, which also supplies recently released Shamrock whiskey, American whiskey Bowsaw, Ginato Gin, Jawbox Gin and Ukiyo Vodka.

“We are excited to introduce Grand Kadoo Rum to the German market,” said John Soden, chief commercial officer of Kirker Greer Spirits.

“We look forward to working with our distribution partners there and believe that the brand will be a great hit with German consumers.

“The sweeter flavour profile of the Carnival range is ideal for those looking for something new and for white spirits drinkers who are looking to transition into darker spirits. The Club range also offers outstanding rum which has already been well received in other markets.”

The rum brand is made up of a blend of aged pot and column still rums from a family-owned distillery in Barbados. Each bottling is infused with ‘real’ fruit, sourced from the Caribbean. The bottles are also packaged with an eco-friendly biodegradable label made from sugarcane.

Last year, the company launched a global advertising campaign to celebrate the Grand Kadooment carnival in Barbados, a Barbadian celebration that marks the end of the sugarcane season.
