Rum Lab unveils US festival schedule for 2022
Educational platform The Rum Lab has revealed its programme of rum events in the US next year, including two new festivals.
The Rum Lab aims to educate consumers on premium rum in the US through its series of events, educational interviews and infographics.
The company has now unveiled the agenda for its US 2022 Rum Tour, which will include new events: Seattle Rum Festival and Los Angeles Rum Festival.
Each event offers between 60 to 90 rums from the across the world, as well as access to brand representatives, tastings and education symposiums.
The first event of 2022 will be the Miami Rum Congress on 11 to 12 February, which will be held at the Hilton Cabana hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. The third annual event is the result of a collaboration between The Rum Lab and the UK’s Rum Fest.
The fifth Chicago Rum Festival, also known as the Midwest Rum Fest, will be held on 30 April at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, Illinois.
The inaugural Seattle Rum Festival will take place on 2 September at Washington Hall, in partnership with AFAN Foundation.
Meanwhile, the seventh San Francisco Rum Festival, formerly known as the California Rum Festival, is due to be held on 4 September at The Hibernia.
The final event of the year will be the Los Angeles Rum Festival on 9 September. The inaugural event will be hosted in partnership with Marie King, general manager of Los Angeles tiki bar Tonga Hot, and held at The Majestic Downtown.
