Svedka creates Pure Infusions range

Constellation Brands-owned Svedka Vodka has released a zero-sugar flavoured range, called Pure Infusions.

In April this year, US firm Constellation Brands said it had a “strong innovation pipeline planned for the coming year” including upcoming line extensions for Svedka vodka. The group will also unveil “compelling” marketing campaigns for its wine and spirit brands, including Svedka.

The new Svedka Pure Infusions range (30% ABV) is described as the brand’s latest innovation in flavour. It comes in three variants: Strawberry Guava, Ginger Lime and Dragonfruit Melon.

Each “naturally flavoured” product is free from sugar, carbohydrates and fat and contain 70 calories per 1.5 ounce serving (approximately 45ml).

“Svedka Pure Infusions zero-sugar content does not compromise on the bold and innovative flavours core to Svedka Vodka’s DNA,” said Jaymie Schoenberg, vice president of marketing for Svedka Vodka.

“Pure Infusions combines Svedka Vodka’s leadership in flavour innovation with natural flavours to offer consumers a unique, sugar-free way to enjoy their flavoured vodka no matter the occasion.”

The new range offers consumers the opportunity to “live a balanced lifestyle” and can be used to make cocktails at home. Each expression is recommended served with soda water.

Svedka Pure Infusions is available to buy in the US, priced at US$14.99 per 750ml bottle and US$15.99 per one-litre bottle.

Svedka follows in the footsteps of a number of vodka brands that have launched lower-alcohol products in recent years. Diageo released its 30% ABV Ketel One Botanical series in 2018, followed a year later by the launch of a zero-sugar, lower-ABV Smirnoff range in the US, called Smirnoff Zero Sugar Infusions.
