Sir Edward’s Beer Reserve joins whisky range
La Martiniquaise-Bardinet has expanded its Sir Edward’s blended Scotch whisky range with the addition of a Scottish beer barrel-finished expression.
Sir Edward’s Beer Reserve is the fourth whisky in the brand’s range
Sir Edward’s Beer Reserve has been bottled at 40% ABV and is recommended for sipping neat or mixed in cocktails.
Tasting notes include heather honey, citrus and sweet hops on the nose, leading to honey, berries, toffee, malt and hoppy spice flavours on the palate. The finish is said to be long, lingering with sweet and gentle spice.
Sir Edward’s Beer Reserve is the fourth expression in the brand’s portfolio, which features Sir Edward’s Finest, the gently peated Sir Edward’s Smoky and Sir Edward’s 12 Years Old.
