Lakes Distillery expands with gin and vodka liqueurs

English spirits producer The Lakes Distillery has added a range of flavoured gin and vodka liqueurs to its portfolio.

The collection comprises The Lakes Rhubarb and Rosehip Gin Liqueur, The Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur and The Lakes Salted Caramel Vodka Liqueur.

Each expression was based on The Lakes Gin or The Lakes Vodka.

The rhubarb and rosehip flavour is said to be “delicately fruity with a tantalising tang”. Meanwhile, the elderflower expression is described as “delicately fragrant” with aromas of juniper and coriander, and tastes of elderflower and citrus on the palate.

The salted caramel vodka liqueur has tasting notes of caramel and toasted marshmallows on the nose, leading to a sweet but salty palate, with hints of toffee.

All three variants have been bottled at 25% ABV and priced at RRP £24 (US$31) per 700ml.
