Brown-Forman’s Woodford Reserve Distillery has officially opened its new visitor centre.

Situated in central Kentucky, US, the new Woodford Reserve Welcome Center features a main hall with seating, a ticketing area, restrooms, a bar and outdoor entertaining spaces.

The décor combines oak and limestone to highlight the use of both materials in the Bourbon-making process.

In the main hall, guests will find original pieces of art inspired by the Kentucky landscape, the majority of which were created by Kentucky artists.

Visitors will be able to board a bus to go across the street from the Welcome Center where they will be able to explore the fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling before heading to the visitor centre for a tasting.

The visitor centre will also offer a gift shop, Glenn’s Creek Café (under the guidance of chef-in-resident Ouita Michel) and a cocktail bar.

Last year, Woodford Reserve Distillery welcomed a record 150,000 visitors from around the world to its site in Kentucky.
