Tito’s strengthens presence in European travel retail
Texas-based Tito’s Handmade Vodka has “significantly” expanded its presence in European travel retail as part of its deal with duty free operator Dufry.
Tito’s kicked off its campaign in Antalya, Turkey last month
The campaign, which kicked off last month in Antalya, Turkey, has now expanded to Belgrade, Malaga and Lisbon.
It will roll out to Athens, Las Palma de Gran Canaria, Zurich and Malta in the coming months.
The campaign will feature branded installations, including light boxes, wall bays and gondolas to highlight the brand’s roots in Austin, Texas.
The vodka brand will also run promotions such as a gift with purchase in select locations, and will offer chilled samples of the product.
John McDonnell, Tito’s managing director international, said: “Our presence and activity in European Dufry stores is stepping up significantly this summer, a reflection of our ambitious growth plans in the region.
“As word spreads in European domestic markets, more and more people are discovering Tito’s and are inspired by its American heritage and quality and craft credentials.”
In June last year, Tito’s Handmade Vodka expanded its partnership with duty free operator Dufry around the world.
Last month, Tito’s appointed Société Dugas as its new distributor in France as the brand endeavours to grow its European footprint.
