Pernod partners with shopping app Jessica’s Secret

Martell Cognac owner Pernod Ricard has partnered with price comparison app Jessica’s Secret to offer Chinese travellers a “one-stop travel retail e-commerce shop”.

The year-long partnership will go live on 6 May, when users of the app will be able to view up-to-date product and price information on Pernod Ricard-owned brands, including Martell Cognac and Jameson Irish whiskey.

Through the app, users will be able to compare prices, place orders, make payments and arrange airport pickups.

Janice Chan, digital manager APAC for Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, said: “We are always looking at ways to explore innovative technologies that enhance consumer journeys, which is why we are delighted to be partnering with Jessica’s Secret.

“The partnership will enable us not only to leverage the reach of the app, but also to connect with Chinese travellers in a meaningful way by tapping into an existing consumer behaviour and offering them content and offers to match.”

Pernod Ricard’s listing on the app will also raise awareness about travel retail promotions and will allow the drinks producer to launch a pre-ordering service for Chinese travellers.
