Irish Whitetail Distillery seeks €75,000 investment

Whiskey maker Irish Whitetail Distillery is endeavouring to raise more than €75,000 (US$85,578) through crowdfunding to help the company meet consumer demand.

Irish Whitetail Distillery will launch its 12 Point Rogue Buck whiskey in 2019

The fundraising effort is due to begin on 14 January and will run for 45 days on crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

In return for funding, investors have the chance to be first in line to try new products from the distillery through the company’s voucher and Founders Club programmes. There are also branded merchandise and party packages on offer.

Founded by husband and wife Nickolas and Violetta Boyle, the distillery is located in County Louth, Ireland.

Nickolas Boyle said: “When we moved here shortly after our daughter was born, we just fell in love with its beauty and the people.

“The area offers the perfect balance of seclusion and tourism for our operation to thrive. We love it here and want to make our future here.

“We have received a huge amount of support since coming here, we have been blown away by how amazing this community has been to us.”

The pair showcased Irish Whitetail’s 12 Point Rogue Buck Irish single malt whiskey at Whiskey Live Dublin in November, it has been finished in African mahogany casks. The whiskey has been bottled at 40% abv and is priced at RRP €55 (£50/US$62.50).
